George Young | Chief Information Security Officer
 
George Young has over 30 years of experience in secure computing and is responsible for networking and cybersecurity at CB Technologies, Inc.   In addition, he is currently Co-Chairman of the Security Privacy & Trust in IoT Center of Excellence. Before joining CB Technologies Inc. in 2014, George held key positions within IBM, as well as startup organizations that went on to become extremely successful public companies. 
 
George dedicates a significant amount of his time in supporting charitable organizations such as the Shriners, Scottish Rite and Rotary International.  Having recently joined the Rotary, he says that he can see the impact that our Rotary Club provides, whether it’s donating books to children at the local food pantry or sponsoring the education of girls who to live in the slums of India, as well as providing assistance to a local domestic violence organization that provides shelter, advocacy, counseling and education for families in crisis. He holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University in Communication Systems. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor teaching Operating Systems, Information Technology and Cybersecurity at the University level.
