TONIGHT at 6:30 pm, Damaris Lorta, the Chief Development Officer for A Safe Place, will tell us about the great work they are doing to help survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.
A Safe Place provides a surprisingly broad variety of services and Damaris will let us know the ways in which we can help. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, individual and group therapy, art therapy, affordable transitional and permanent housing, scattered site housing, mentoring for adolescent boys, education for teens on healthy relationships, community and professional education, and intervention services for abusers to learn accountability for their choices and actions.
