John Casper, a 27-year member of Lake Zurich Rotary, has been president of our club and is currently our End Polio Now chair. John recently retired from Casper True Value and closed the business after a three-generation, 56-year run in Lake Zurich, supplying both hardware and advice. In January, he was honored by the Lake Zurich Chamber of Commerce for the business's 50 years of membership.
John has been known for his utter devotion to customer service and love of golf, as well as for being one of the luckiest guys around. And not just because he seems to win every raffle he enters. He credits his wife, Brenda, and family for a lot of his success in life.
